Research seat on the Atlantic

Faro, the capital of the Algarve on Portugal's southern coast, is home to the large marine research institute (CCMAR) of the local university. In summer 2018, CCMAR and fair-fish agreed to work together. On this basis, we founded our Fish Ethology and Welfare Group (FishEthoGroup) in Faro at the beginning of 2019. The group has a workspace at CCMAR and access to the laboratory for fish welfare studies.
